When I think back on all the crap I learned in high school It's a wonder I can think at all And though my lack of education hasn't hurt me none I can read the writing on the wall Kodachrome They give us those nice bright colors They give us the greens of summers Makes you think all the world's a sunny day, oh yeah I got a Nikon camera, I love to take a photograph So mama don't take my Kodachrome away If you took all the girls I knew when I was single And brought them all together for one night I know they'd never match my sweet imagination Everything looks worse in black and white Mama don't take my Kodachrome away 고등학교때 배웠던 그 쓰레기 같은 것들을 생각해보면 말야, 내가 생각이라도 할수 있다는게 참 신기한 일야. 그래도 배움이 부족하다는 게 별루 큰 영향은 없어서 벽에 있는 낙서들을 읽을순 있다구. 코닥크롬이라는 것, 참으로 선명하고 밝은 색깔들을 보여주지. 여름의 그 푸르름을 보여준단말야. 세상이란 온통 밝은 날들의 연속이라 생각하게 만들어주지. 나한텐 니콘 카메라도 있으니, 난 사진 찍는게 참 좋아. 그러니까, 제 필름은 가져가지 마세요. 내가 싱글일 때 알던 그 모든 여자들을 다 데려와서, 모두다 함께 하룻밤을 지낼수 있게 만들어 준다 해도 나의 그 달콤한 상상들과는 비교도 안될껄. 흑백의 세상속에선 모든 것들이 훨씬 더 나아보이니까 말야. 그러니까 제 필름을 가져가지 마세요.
